Ingredients:

2 chicken breasts, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup cooking cream
2 tablespoons olive oil
400g pasta (fettuccine or spaghetti)
Juice of 1 lemon
Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
½ teaspoon Italian herbs or oregano

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Pasta Preparation:

Cook the pasta

In a large pot, boil the pasta in salted water according to the package directions. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the cooking water.

Brown the chicken

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken slices and cook until cooked through and golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Preparing the Sauce

In the same pan, add the garlic and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant. Then add the cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and herbs.

Combining the Ingredients

Return the chicken to the pan, then add the cooked pasta and stir well. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the pasta water until it reaches the desired consistency.
